PEANA Projects is an exhibition platform committed to the furthering of social and cultural engagement with Latin American contemporary art within the United States and the promotion of international artists within the Mexican art market. Employing an adaptable curatorial model, PEANA maintains a permanent gallery space in Monterrey, Mexico, while also organizing and curating itinerant off-site exhibitions in New York and Europe, providing the ground for cross-cultural and multi-site collaboration. Through its exhibitions and programming, PEANA seeks to facilitate a material and conceptual exchange between the regions and their respective, local artistic communities. In addition to its exhibition program, PEANA also has a residency program in Mexico and New York whose mission it to support the creative development of artists and curators and promotes exchange through exhibitions and public programs. The Residency programs are made possible through the support of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and Residency Unlimited.
